It is a typical love story, written with a lot of descriptive detail that brings you right into the lives of the characters.
The twists and turns of the story are intriguing enough to keep the readers going till the end of the story. The writing is good though you really need to keep note of the date written at the top of every chapter. The author has a real talent with bringing believable events into the story to touch the heart and bring hope and healing to worthy individuals who need it most. Very atmospheric, character descriptions are solid, quick & easy read, entertaining you won’t put it down.The mystery, suspense, and beauty of the characters make for a compelling and stunning read. Such unlikeable characters, especially Liwa and Noel- I found myself mad, frustrated, angry with Liwa, heart racing, wanting to know what’s coming!Ī thrilling ride! Lots of gory scenes in this one too soooo!!! Beware! I didn’t really like any of the characters in this book.
This book speaks to the social commentary surrounding the killing of children, the rise of female serial killers and so much more! Tju! Children are dying, bodies disappearing & we see dark sides to both women that brings out dark sides that are largely perpetuated from childhood bondage & trauma.įrom sexual desires, killings, murders, mental psychosis that leaves you the reader asking yourself : do we justify this as a sickness or will and intent? 😳😁 A thrilling ride!! The only catch is, people just keep dying around them. Liwa has lost her father, and Noel comes to her side. They work together & have a thriving business. The book opens with the two mates, all grown up, working together - Liwa, a brilliant architect with a thriving business, and Noel, an artist loved & respected for her beautiful & magnetic art pieces. So in this novel we follow Liwa and Noel, two childhood friends who grew up together in the villages in Port Alfred. “I know your demons, yet don’t think I won’t give you mine”. Childhood trauma, abortion, mothers who don’t love their children to mention a few. If you are a fan of DARK novels, thrilling, taking you on a wild ride, this is one to pick up!
